Gather round boys and girls as it's raining outside and playtime is cancelled we're going to play a new and fabby game called 'Caption that picture'. Super! It's an old picture in what they used to call black and white. Before science and common sense and the internet they could only take pictures without colour. Boo Hiss!
Now we've all sat down and are comfortable I'll show you the picture. You get ten seconds to think of a caption and shout it out. I'll write the best three on the blackboard children. Isn't that fun!
Here's the picture...

Yes Petunia it does look like they are on their hols.
Scroll down for the actual caption and let's see if Peter or Schlomo was the closest.
Jewish mothers and children forced walk to the gas chambers, past the barracks and the electrified barbed wire

Are you seriously pulling a Bill Clinton here? 'Depends on what your definition of 'is' is'...
You engage in some word play, and suddenly people are no long told that this collection of photographs is proof, because, they didn't specifically say the word in the article from yad vashim?
When I ask for 'proof' this is unironically part of that which is provided, as 'objective proof'.
/shrug
You cannot produce a source that states, this photo proves the Holocaust gassings. You have deliberately misrepresented, yet again. There may get sources claiming that a photo is of Jews on their way to the gas chambers, but I would argue the only photo where that is pretty much certain, is the Sonderkommando photo of people undressing outside of Krema V. That is different form claiming a photo is proof.
Have I? Where are the jews in the picture posted with an urge for our caption said to be going by yad vashim Nessie?
Take your time with your answer, I understand the picture doesn't appear to show what is is purporting.
After we caption that photo, it is my hope the host of the game will share another.
I will posit a caption;
'Jews with their belongings are walking to intermediate housing before being transported to Bergen Belsen having been deemed unfit for work at Auschwitz'.
were to guess why no t4 personnel were chosen to perform gassing that had experience with gassing, it would be because THERE WERE NONE.

Captions need to be evidenced. There needs to be evidence who the people pictured were and that they were not registered to work at the camp and that they do not appear later at another camp, to establish if they were gassed.
That is why I say the album evidences mass arrivals and selections only. You have yet to produce a source that claims the photos are proof of the Holocaust.
From the opening few paragraphs of the web site I referenced above...
The Auschwitz Album is the only surviving visual evidence of the process leading to the mass murder at Auschwitz-Birkenau. It is a unique document and was donated to Yad Vashem by Lilly Jacob-Zelmanovic Meier.
The photos were taken at the end of May or beginning of June 1944, either by Ernst Hofmann or by Bernhard Walter, two SS men whose task was to take ID photos and fingerprints of the inmates (not of the Jews who were sent directly to the gas chambers). The photos show the arrival of Hungarian Jews from Carpatho-Ruthenia. Many of them came from the Berehovo Ghetto, which itself was a collecting point for Jews from several other small towns.
Early summer 1944 was the apex of the deportation of Hungarian Jewry. For this purpose a special rail line was extended from the railway station outside the camp to a ramp inside Auschwitz. Many of the photos in the album were taken on the ramp. The Jews then went through a selection process, carried out by SS doctors and wardens. Those considered fit for work were sent into the camp, where they were registered, deloused and distributed to the barracks. The rest were sent to the gas chambers. They were gassed under the guise of a harmless shower, their bodies were cremated and the ashes were strewn in a nearby swamp. The Nazis not only ruthlessly exploited the labor of those they did not kill immediately, they also looted the belongings the Jews brought with them. Even gold fillings were extracted from the mouths of the dead by a special detachment of inmates. The personal effects the Jews brought with them were sorted by inmates and stored in an area referred to by the inmates as "Canada": the ultimate land of plenty.
The photos in the album show the entire process except for the killing itself.
Anyway children now that Ari and Yossi are off sick today we can play this game again a little later with another jolly little picture...
Of the four million jews under German control, six million died and five million survived!

You have highlighted where the photos are described as part of the evidence of the process prior to gassings. It then goes on to describe what happened after the photos were taken.
For the hard of understanding it is worth making clear that the Auschwitz Album clearly states and leads people to believe that it shows the holocaust in operation, thus it is used as a proof that the holocaust as claimed is true and happened. Those same hard of understanding now try to duck and dive from this even though they are prepared to believe what Yossi said 75 years after having a short spell in a camp in 1943 and surviving the H...
More fun and games later with Caption That Picture, a wholesome family game for all to enjoy.

In that sense, the Auschwitz Album is symbolic of the Holocaust as a whole.
*Black and white photograph of Jews exiting a train*
*cue sad music*
*That proves they were all gassed*
Some photographs clearly show Jews that were selected as unable to work (elderly women and children), which can only mean one of two things: (1) the Germans were officially photographing and documenting their horrific crimes, despite it allegedly being the most secret operation in human history, or (2) these Jews were actually just taken away to be sent elsewhere. Some of the photographs of elderly Jews and children (after selection) literally show them walking on dirt paths carrying rucksacks, pots and pans. Not exactly logistically optimal for a mass extermination operation where they supposedly went "straigt to the gas chamber" after selection (and after dropping all of their belongings right on the platform).
Similarly, one of the (at first glance) unnerving Sonderkommando photographs showing naked women, upon further inspection, actually shows them carrying buckets of water and in the process of washing themselves.

Yad Vashem: "The album you will see presented here is known as the Auschwitz album and it is the only surviving visual evidence of the process of mass murder at Auschwitz-Birkenau." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATQp8rFXRkg
All these authorities are wrong, then. If we instead reduce the claim from these explicit statements to what you said - the Album depicts transport and selection - then it is perfectly in line with revisionism.

All the quotes are clear that the album is evidence, not proof in of itself. They show part of the process.
The album is evidence of mass arrivals and selections. It does not support the revisionist claim that those not selected to work, then left the camp.
Ok children more fun and games, hilarity and a bit of history thrown in for good measure. Let's play Caption That Picture again. Form a circle sitting on the floor and I will show you another jolly picture of a family group this time having a super doop doop picnic in the woods before playing Hunt The Snark.
All you have you do is think of a caption for the picture and shout it out to me before I reveal the real caption from the history book of the Dead Sea Pedestrians...
Concentrate now boys and girls because it's just about to come up on the screen.

What's that Richard? Yes they all seem to be eating cake and loads of bread.
Jews who were classified as "not fit for work" waiting in a grove outside Crematorium IV before they were to be gassed. At this point, the Jews were exhausted and in a state of shock from the horrors of the journey and the selection process that they had just endured. The vast majority had no idea what fate awaited them.
Does anyone see a state of shock and exhaustion?

The problem with that caption, is that it is not backed by evidence of people being deloused and moved to housing.
Are you joking? The album has some captions written in it. The one given for inmates who just had a shave and change of clothes is "after delousing". This is definitive evidence of people being deloused.
After that, the inmates are then depicted marching onwards. The caption for this is something like "transfer to the labor camp". This is strong evidence of people being moved to housing, if not sent to other camps.
The museums don't even disagree with these facts. Their and your assertion is that perhaps some subset of the inmates were gassed instead, but the evidence in the album is against that. There are especially no signs of the massive cremation pyres that are supposed to have been active during this action.

The selection process is evidenced by the photos, witnesses and documents.

The pyres are evidenced by photos, witnesses and I am not sure if the Hydrokop survey covered the area next to the bunker and Krema V where the photos show smoke.
