The walls were were not completely exposed to the elements. Look at the picture I posted in the OP - the roofs of the cellars are only partially collapsed. Some rain getting in is not going to strip all the paint off the walls from floor to ceiling. Especially if this hypothetical paint was waterproof.

Take a look at the Fritz Berg paper I linked in the OP. The Dachau design was relatively advanced. The whole point of the blower and forced ventilation was to speed up the process. The rapidly circulating air penetrated the clothing much more rapidly than the conventional slow release method. Personnel were not even required to use gas masks since the ventilation was so efficient. I don't know the exact fumigation time off the top of my head (would need to check the Degesch manuals) but it was intended to be significantly faster. And the chambers likely would have had much lower moisture which is another a key factor.

It doesn't really matter because you could do delousing throughout the day, and they would have unless they were really inefficient. Internet also mentions higher concentrations being needed for shorter cylces. Berg doesn't mention anything about the concentrations needed for delousing vs human killing? What are they again?

If the manuals speak of something else, you can show me I guess, otherwise I'd say you're being hopeful.

"Last" and "fail" in this context mean the paint may not retain its waterproof properties or may start to peel, flake, etc. It doesn't mean that at three years the paint vanishes into thin air.

There are numerous problems with the special paint hypothesis, many of which have been litigated before.

Invoking a physical barrier to inhibit the interfacing of HcN with the underlying masonry renders much if not all of the heavy lifting done by Markiewicz, Green, and in turn Van Pelt and others as redundant. They argue the interface was unimpeded.

The only expert to my knowledge who invokes paint is Dr Bailer. He argues its presence is the reason for the blue stains at the delousing chambers ~40 years later. This means Dr Bailer is arguing for a paint that is visible today and has not disappeared. There are 11 refutations that Rudolf makes to this argument section 8.4.1 of TCoA, and not one of the 11 invokes the lifespan of the paint (!).

Eyewitness accounts describe the phsyical appearance as that consistent with the revisionist position:

“The gas chamber at Crematorium II [III] was underground. It had gray walls

To conclude, the special paint hypothesis demands very little attention from revisionists.

- Its existence has yet to be demonstrated
- Orthodox experts' arguments (except one, see below) assume HcN / masonry interface was uninhibited
- Where Bailer does invoke paint, he argues it's presence is visible today (1995) and so is incompatible with the BA hypothesis that it has vanished
- This hypothesis reeks of deus-ex-machina and always will unless it is substantiated in some way

It makes perfect sense that they would have taken some precautions to avoid having suspicious Zyklon stains in the chambers.

What's the point exactly? Markiewicz found higher concentrations of HCN in the gas chambers than in the controls. Nothing here is going your way, except your own delusions (such as the witnesses saying the rooms were unpainted, special paint prevent absolutely HCN from penetrating, rather than low amounts)

and the chief point, paint is just one possibility for the relatively low HCN concentration in the walls, there are many others. You're the ones hyperfixating on paint.

I’m not aware of him ever making a credible argument on any topic. I’m not exaggerating there.
His only motive for writing here at CODOH appears to be to just wind people up + be a sole voice of contradiction, no matter how lame his supposed argument.

The topic title sums up the lack of intelligence in his argument: which is that everyone replying to him is “delusional” and “fixated” because they are not convinced by his ‘secret paint’ theory?
