You, do understand how acceptance and promotion are, different, do you not?
Actually, the distinction seems quite blurry in this case because we're essentially discussing promotion of acceptance, so it's hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. At any rate, I agree that it's best to continue this part of the discussion in a separate thread (or threads). Looking forward to that.

There is one huge difference.
The vast majority of people who over the last three thousand years have promoted religious views, BELIEVED THOSE VIEWS THEMSELVES!
That doesn't sound like a difference, it looks like yet another similarity.
…That doesn't mean that all those involved in the hoax believed the lies. There must be a few who knew. But it seems clear that the vast majority of those who spread the hoax believed it.

What we have had since the invention of screens and films is elites DELIBERATELYspreading what they know is misinformation that THEY THEMSELVES DO NOT BELIEVE!!
Can you really not see the difference?
Not really. What I see is yet another similarity.
…only a few among those deceivers know that they are deceiving.
The rest, i.e, the vast majority of the deceivers, believe those deceptions…

Mass-murdering approximately 100,000 people [...] with complete impunity.
As tragic as that is, it's not any worse than murdering millions in the name of religion.
People believed [a conman’s] lies because HE BELIEVED HIS OWN LIES. …You just need a few people deliberately creating the lie, and a few thousands or millions believing it and repeating it. Which, again, seems to work the same whether the lie is about Covid, the holohoax, or religion.
You are repeatedly avoiding admitting the very simple point.
Your examples I regard as just stubborn and dishonest avoidance.
I regard that as self-deceptive of you.
A ‘holocaust’ believer’s problem is not technical, factual, empirical or archeological — their problem is psychological.

No, no offence taken. [But thanks for your concern and respectful response]
I’m just replying honestly and frankly.
So I hope you aren’t offended by that frankness.
I am strongly suggesting to you — and to anyone else reading — that this is an extremely important issue RIGHT NOW. Extremely important!
The amount of calculated, deliberate misinformation and mind-manipulation that we the global community are constantly bombarded with right NOW is unprecedented.
And if WE COLLECTIVELY aren’t able to recognise that and instead are trying to downplay it because of some issues we have with our religious (e.g. Roman Catholic) conditioning, then I’m genuinely trying to inform you that you have become part of the problem.
The same collectives who have brainwashed humanity from childhood onwards with racist, war-propaganda and necro-pornographic deception (WW2 lies and holyH indoctrination) are CURRENTLY engaged in extremely sophisticated, and manipulative misinformation campaigns.
We as a collective who are wise to some of that, need to be helping inform our brothers and sisters about it. Not pretending it isn’t happening, or that it isn’t so bad because propaganda has always existed in SOME FORM.
A ‘holocaust’ believer’s problem is not technical, factual, empirical or archeological — their problem is psychological.
