The fact they turned it into a contest where people can vote online is really schlocky.

A while ago, I floated the idea of a thread for "writing non-Holocaust accounts in the style of the Holocaust," but thought it might be too silly. But it's not half as silly as this "Anti-Semite of the Year Award." I'm half-tempted to revive that idea in a new thread.

Have they given it a name yet like the Grammys or Emmys? The Asemmys maybe?

I wholeheartedly approve of the 'Write Your Story Like a Victim' contest.

The anti semite of the year award is apparently just named 'The Antismite of the Year' award. Rather lackluster and uncreative if I'm asked.

If we had the pull, I'd ask everyone to write me in so Stubble could be 'The Antisemite of the Year'.

Stop Antisemitism is a Zionist wacko account. Quite a few of these selections are liberal commentators/celebrities who have spoken out about Gaza. Quite a few liberals and moderates were looking askance at these selections. This is a tactical error, imo. If you say that criticizing Israel's policies is automatically anti-Semitic, at some people will just say, well, by that definition, fine, I'm "anti-Semitic." This sort of thing will likely estrange Jews from the left.
