Civilian deaths, statistics and Jews

We know the narrative. To be blunt early estimates of the war’s fatalities were also taken at face value and formed the basis of many historical works; these were often very inaccurate, but the validity of the source means that the figures continue to be cited today, despite contrary evidence.

Official casualty sources estimate battle deaths at nearly 15 million military personnel and civilian deaths at over 38 million.

Wiki states:

The discrepancy between the three sources of data stands out immediately, the Defence Casualty Analysis being much more conservative in their figures.

Using the three sources of data for civilian deaths the range is between 38 - 55 million, a difference of 17 million.

This is where the "Jews of the Unknown" fit in. Using a rounded 5 million missing Jews as discussed here and elsewhere. Anything can be forced into statistical anomalies. This amount to 13% of the Defense analysis, 11% of the dead civilians for the museum and 9% for the highest Wiki data of 55 million casualties.

As Jews are considered civilian the current 5 million claim is statistically insignificant in the context of higher civilian causualities. I am sure there is more data out there, and a two or three way analysis of variance could be undertaken along with z scores to determine how the 3 sets of data are related.

To put it simply all of the alleged murdered Jews could fit easily into the statistical discrepancies. One must also keep in mind the potential for mistakingly increasing the Jewish population numbers, systematically from 1900 - 1945; it is this data that is used to determine the change in world Jewish population. There is a massive spike in Jewish population data which seems unreasonable considering Jews fighting in WWI and of course the recession.


This is not the same as denying it happened, but the confidence we can have it happened. It is a fact Jews perished. Even the Kaiswerwald camps were described as "death camps" long before Treblinka and Belzec were known. It is clear from the reports of Jews such as Pyotr Lantos that most of the deprivations came not from German meanness but the rout of civilization at wars end. Everyone is aware of Dr Charles Larson reports on death by disease as opposed to gas as was originally claimed.
Within the civilian deaths is the reports by Alexandr Solzhenitsyn of Jews dying on Soviet trains by the thousands heading towards the taiga.


This is not to demean the suffering of individuals and the same questions that is asked could be requested of the civilian population in general. E.g if only 55 million civilians were killed where did the other 10 million go" along with the caveat to prove it. Of course is the museum is correct, these civilians never existed, the same is true of the defense analysis.

Often in cases like this the mean is somewhere between the extremes which would place the civilian deaths at 46 million. This gives a leeway of about 9 million between the maximum and minumum figures for civilian death. This statistical discepancy can still fit in all of the alleged Jewish holocaust victims.

No one can state with any degree of certainty the probability of 5 million Jews or so being within the civilian casualty true data.
