The reason why they were "not allowed to defend themselves from" the alleged crime of mass murder, is because the crime of mass murder was proven and the accused and their defence accepted that. What the Nazis then defended themselves from, was responsibility for the mass murders. At the Belzec trial, coercion was used as a defence and it worked, for the majority of them. Many were excused and given very light sentences.

When you claim "pack of lies" you fail to acknowledge that the majority of the evidence came from Nazi sources. They were the largest group of eyewitnesses, they provided the vast majority of the documentary, physical and circumstantial evidence.

Now, some of these persons claimed missing, I'm almost certain they never existed, the census numbers having been revised both upward for the prewar numbers and downward for the post war numbers. That doesn't make a thorough accounting however, because there is still a balance of missing persons.

This number of legitimately missing persons, they went somewhere. We know they went to these Bug River camps. As SanityCheck pointed out, we know, for example, that the people transported to Belzec were transported to Belzec. At a maximum 10% of them could be buried there. If you exclude a grave cap, 20%. Not even as a liquid will 600,000 (which is the claim) fit in the alleged grave space.

Given what has been uncovered at Sobibor, I'm not going to, on blind faith alone take Kola's interpretation of what he claims to have found at face value. Given the current state of the site, I don't see any way for this conundrum to be meaningfully resolved short of some type of ground imagery via some as yet unestablished method.

These people, I've been lied to about where they are, and how they ended up there. That is a problem. A very real problem. The fact remains that almost 2,000,000 people from the Bug River camps alone, they went somewhere.
