Did an survivor ever claim to have been a sonderkommando putting of gassing victims in the ovens in Crematory 1?

In his book, he describes the furnaces at the Auschwitz Main Camp’s crematorium in the faulty, incomplete state, as they had been rebuilt by the Auschwitz Museum after the war.
He insisted that he worked in that facility from early May until June of 1942, and in this context described the results of an alleged homicidal gassing of Slovakian Jews in the old crematorium’s morgue in early May[...]
Three corpses were placed in a muffle and cremated within 20 minutes[...]
In his book he also talks about working with the crystals in the floor and there being a fan in the ceiling/roof of Krema I.

I'm sure there are others.

Thank you.

Here is why this question comes to mind.
I've always wondered about the near complete absence of eyewitness accounts from Polish detainees regarding all the extraordinary events reported by Jewish detainees/prisoners.
In the past the answer I normally was given is that Poles weren't held in the barracks of Birkenau, instead they were held at the main camp and/or transferred elsewhere.

With that I assumed the converse, that Jews were housed at Birkenau not the main camp.
So I was curious to see what the answer to this question was.
That crematory was in service before the bright idea came along to gas prisoners there, wouldn't it be a reasonable assumption that Poles or some other group housed at the main camp would be assigned to work in the crematorium?
