What was wrong with the old forum?

When I do a search for Jennifer Teege on the new forum, nothing comes up and I can't help feeling I would have got quite a few hits on the old forum. I tried to search the old forum archive but just got a 'This site can't be reached' page. What was wrong with the forum as it was?

(I want to provide a link to the song 'Why don't they leave things alone?' by Blancmange but I don't know if that sort of thing is allowed)

I'm not finding any prior discussion on Jennifer Teege. If you'd like you can start a thread in Holocaust Research & Discussion about it. This is the first I'm hearing of her.

Jennifer Teege is a German writer. Her maternal grandfather was Austrian SS Nazi concentration camp commander and war criminal Amon Göth. Her 2015 book My Grandfather Would Have Shot Me: A Black Woman Discovers Her Family's Nazi Past was a New York Times bestseller.

As a 'rhineland negro' policy would have been to sterilize her, not shoot her, so, her book title is a misstatement. For clarity.
