Any Interest in a Research Project?

Post by Stubble »

After a brief talk with Germar through Holocaust Academy, I have been asked if I would reach out to the forum and see if anyone is interested in collating, cataloging, tagging and tracing the records of every jew under the authority of the German Government during ww2.

This research project will start with an analysis and mapping of German labor and infrastructure east of the Bug River past the Action Reinhardt camps. It will pan out to include civilian labor structures like Organization Todt etc.

Ultimately the idea is to build an interactive map on a time scale that will catalog disposition of as many jewish persons in the camp system as possible using all available information.

If you are interested in this project I have been told to invite you to a group brainstorming session with Germar to hash out what this will entail, how this will be managed, and some ideas for how to accomplish this.

Thank you for your time.

(I was unfortunately not accepted as a student during my assessment 8-) )
If I were to guess why no t4 personnel were chosen to perform gassing that had experience with gassing, it would be because THERE WERE NONE.

Sounds like a great project but will it require speaking German and/or Polish?

Foreign language?

Basic would be preferred so an AI translation could be contrasted for fidelity.

Not fluency, but, basic familiarity me thinks.

This is exactly what revisionism needs. What kind of sources does he have in mind? I know orthodox historians systematically overlook/ignore information not conducive to the official extermination hypothesis, but this would surely require new/buried wartime sources to be done properly. I'm interested to follow where this project goes and specifically what sources are being considered. I have academic credentials but not sure if it could in any way be helpful in accessing relevant materials.

I'm glad to see some responses to a line in the water.

This situation is very fluid and in a state of flux, tentative, contingent.

As things become more clear, I will share things.

This thread is the result of a simple and brief conversation during the assessment phase of 'holocaust academy'.

My focus and area of interest being in the 'grey area', I was not accepted. There is no one to teach that which we do not know, after all.

At this time, this is all I can really share.

EDIT: After conversing with Fangers I have some concerns about the project that I need to address before taking the big leaps.

That said, I'm on a research hiatus from the forum.

If anyone wants to get I'm contact, shoot a dm. I will check my box once or twice a week.

When I have some trial data I'll know better what I'm looking at and which methods are or are not fruitful.

Thank you for your time.

A request for information and help looking in to OT task force Jakob.

If you know anything about task force Jakob or have any ideas where to look for information on task force Jakob, I welcome your help.

Thanks in advance.

Update, ok, by July of 1943, task force Jakob was being moved on to the Southern coast of the sea of Azov in and around the area of Ukraine ironically currently being occupied by Russia. They appear to have been there around Kertsch to build a bridge, repair roads and railways and to prepare defenses.

This puts them outside the scope of my current focus. I will put them on the back burner.

I ran across something today that I unfortunately do not have the time to chase as I would have to change my focus and I'm dead set on my current course.

If anyone is feeling froggy, I'd welcome them to learn more about the NKVD firewood stockpile, it's disposition and how many times it was replenished.

Also. Concerning labor operations in Kertsch, in addition to Task Force Jakob, there was also Ertle and a few others. One group that was being fought over in memos, was something referred to as 'Unit 53'. Information about 'Unit 53' has not been forthcoming for me, but, then again, I'm trying to keep my focus on Ostland as not to become overwhelmed. I need to maintain coherence in my project and not get distracted by this particular bit of conscripted labor usage in the Reichskommisariate Ukraine. It is a point that needs attention however.

This page is taken from 'The Organization Todt Book'. It contains terminology that future researchers may find helpful in the winnowing of contemporary wartime documents in an effort to ascertain composition and breadth of conscripted labor under the Organization Todt umbrella. To identify and quantify camps, their strengths and their roles.

OT appears to have worked a lot like what we term in the United States the 'Civilian Inmate Labor Program'. There is overlap with military infrastructure and both Organization Todt and the laborers appear to have been compensated for work (see the IMT minutes).

By careful analysis of food deliveries and pay stubs as well as transport records the size of the labor pool should be able to be estimated. To do this one will have to consult document 'NS-4' to determine calorie requirements per head.

Hopefully this helps.

My Best,

Stubble
