Ive been trying to put together a debate on the holocaust and have had 3 people pull out after they agreed
Every time I give them the name of who they will be debating and they pull out within 24 hours
If anyone with good credentials is willing to debate Germar Rudolf let me know
I haven't watched any video of him but I'm begging to suspect he must have his stuff down
@GermarRudolf
From what I have seen in the week I've been on there, it's more than "lax." They are just straight up allowing it. And not just Holocaust denial. There's openly pro-Hitler stuff. There's tons of anti-Semitic stuff (happy merchant memes and stuff like that), TONS of anti-Israel posts (left and right). Germar's on there. ARMREG's on there. Clemens & Blair is on there.curioussoul wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 11:13 pm I'm quite surprised. One of the absurd rules that Musk enacted was the "genocide denial rule", meant to quash Holocaust revisionism on X. While I'm obviously disappointed in the existence of this rule, clearly their enforcement of it is pretty lax. But it is worrying that they can, at any time, ban someone for having violated it.
Some of this new AI technology is pretty mindblowing. These Hitler translations into English, in particular, I think have the potential to give an entirely new perspective to young non-German speaking people not familiar with what Hitler and National Socialists actually said and believed, and who probably grew up being told he was a raving lunatic. I've heard some of these AI translations have gone viral on TikTok as well, which is encouraging. Ironically, some of what Hitler said probably resonates a lot with left-leaning young people.Callafangers wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2024 1:14 am This one sort of blew my mind. This is actually Hitler's voice, in English (with a British accent), AI-generated. The transcript is from Dalton's translation of Mein Kampf.
Well Trump won. Lets see if you were right.Archie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2024 6:49 pm My theory about what's going on: Elon is campaigning really hard for Trump right now, so my guess is that's why they have loosened the corset. After the election I would not be surprised if they start to lock it back down. Remember that a lot of the right wing Likud type Jews prefer Trump because they know he will let them go full bore with their genocide. Those type of Jews are willing to let a degree of right wing populism flourish as a tradeoff if they think they can get something out of it.
I hope Elon proves me wrong. He says he supports free speech. We'll see how serious he is about that.fireofice wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 11:55 amWell Trump won. Remember when Elon said this though... I think he's smarter than we think (hopefully).
I am convinced the right-shift of X/Twitter (and now Meta/Facebook) is an effort to bring 'problematic thinkers' back under the data-mining and control of establishment hacks like Elon, Zuckerberg, etc. They cannot control thought movements they do not have detailed data insights about. Newcomers like Gab (run by Andrew Torba, a Christian nationalist who is very aware of and vocal about Jewish problems in history) were gaining many new members which, of course, the ADL/etc has had zero success in controlling. The ADL loves Elon (and of course Zuckerberg), though, and their "freedom of speech, not freedom of reach" mantra has caught on, entailing that they simply shut down the visibility of any problematic ideas (or, in some select cases, still do suspensions/bans). Overall, everyone should get on Gab (if anything) as X/Twitter (and certainly Facebook, etc) are not reliable for purposes of revisionism, and could actually be dangerous in the long-run (depending on how our data is used, or whom it is sold or given to).Fred Ziffel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:23 am Yours truely was suspended a few weeks ago for talking about Crem 1 construction history. Too bad. That surprises me. From what I can tell the bannings are very inconsistent. It seems they allow a lot of overtly racist posting. But then some well-behaved accounts will get banned. As I recall, your posts were technical/factual in nature and not inflammatory at all.Fred Ziffel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:23 am Yours truely was suspended a few weeks ago for talking about Crem 1 construction history. I definitely don't think it's "reliable." And I do think it's in part an attempt to manage/corral the right. Nonetheless if the enforcement is relaxed (whatever the motivation), that's a big opportunity to reach more people. Torba is actually pretty active on X, probably because he knows how useful it is for promotional purposes. The forum X account is not large by any means, but it still generates a fair number of referrals (according to the site statistics).Callafangers wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 10:37 amI am convinced the right-shift of X/Twitter (and now Meta/Facebook) is an effort to bring 'problematic thinkers' back under the data-mining and control of establishment hacks like Elon, Zuckerberg, etc. They cannot control thought movements they do not have detailed data insights about.
