I don't see a centering command in the composing menu. I have tried HTML or BB Code commands but this does not work here.
A centering command is useful to format something like an image which is less than the full page width into the center (or sometimes to the right or left for some reason).
Another useful feature is the ability for the poster to specify the size of the image, usually in a percentage of the available page width. That can make it easier to enlarge or reduce the picture.
Thanks

Have you gotten this to work on other phpBB forums previously? And do you know if it would be a stock feature or if it would be an extension?
I don't see much related to this in the control panel. There are a few settings related to attachments, including some for images. Like I can set a maximum file size and things like that.
Hmmm, apparently phpbb software doesn't naturally come with a center formatting command. I think you have to add a script. Or it may be possible to add to BBcodes and do it that way. I can't remember how this was done now. Probably k0nsl just did it for me. I briefly tried looking for instructions on Google but didn't find anything useful.

Ok. It looks like it's not part of the stock phpBB installation, but it appears there's a [center]example[/center] function that can be added.
In general, I'm trying to keep customizations to a minimum, especially major modifications to the php files, since this makes maintenance and software upgrades more difficult. But this one looks like it's not very intensive, so I will try to test it out when I get the chance. I think the function can be added in the administrator panel. To add a button for it I think requires some edits to the php files, but pretty minor.
